A leading financial services company is looking for a Lawyer to join its Trust Department, providing legal and professional support to Israeli and international companies in the areas of trust services and employee equity compensation plans, with a focus on Section 102 of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance.
What You'll Do:
- Provide ongoing legal support to private and public companies regarding employee stock option and equity compensation plans.
- Advise clients and internal teams on legal, tax, and trust-related matters.
- Provide legal and trust support for share purchase transactions.
- Review tax rulings and tax arrangements and provide guidance on their implementation.
- Draft, review, and edit legal agreements, allocation documents, and related documentation.
- Work directly with the Israel Tax Authority, including preparing and submitting required documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders in Israel and abroad.
Requirements:
- LL.B. degree and Israeli Bar license - Must
- Up to 1 year of experience as a lawyer in commercial law, taxation, or the financial sector; candidates following their legal internship may also be considered - Must
- High-level English, including reading, writing, and speaking - Must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Good command of Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong ability to understand complex legal and tax-related matters.
- Detail-oriented, service-minded, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
