System Analyst (COBOL/MF)

/ mainframe (MF) environments. You will work within the Securities department – a strategic division responsible for complex capital markets operations, where you’ll analyze business requirements, define solutions, and help shape the bank’s financial infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Work in a Mainframe (MF) / COBOL environment to design and document system solutions
• Lead end-to-end tasks: requirement gathering, task breakdown, coordination with development teams, and progress tracking
• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, and external vendors
• Focus on key financial domains such as security revaluation, clearing, corporate events, and commissions

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Analyst, including gathering business requirements and writing specifications in an MF/COBOL environment –must
• Strong system-level thinking and ability to analyze and lead tasks and systems end-to-end –must
• Hands-on experience in defining technological solutions, distributing tasks across development teams (matrix structure), and tracking development progres – must
• Experience in business analysis and direct collaboration with business users– must
• Experience in financial systems – must
• At least 3 years of experience working with financial systems in the capital markets/securities domain – must
• Familiarity with topics such as securities revaluation, clearing processes, corporate actions, and commission calculations – must
• Ability to read and understand COBOL code – an advantage
• Experience as a COBOL developer in AS-400 or MF environments– an advantage
• Experience with banking systems – an advantage
