We are looking for a Senior System Analyst, working on a complex core system that supports financial and operational processes. This role involves leading end-to-end system analysis processes, working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors, and becoming a key professional focal point within the team.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end system analysis, from requirements gathering and specification through development, testing, and production.
- Translate business needs into effective system solutions while considering system capabilities and constraints.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and multiple interfaces.
- Support development teams and provide professional guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Quickly learn complex systems and business domains and independently lead multiple tasks and processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst in a medium or large organization - Must
- Proven experience leading end-to-end system analysis processes - Must
- Experience gathering business requirements and writing functional and technical specifications - Must
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders and development teams - Must
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into system solutions - Must
- Strong analytical and system-level thinking, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Must
- Experience with core systems, financial systems, or complex operational systems - Significant advantage
- Experience working in a large, multi-interface organization - Advantage
- Experience working in Agile environments - Advantage
- Familiarity with databases and basic data querying - Advantage
