Join a leading defense technology organization building mission-critical systems, in a senior, hands-on manual testing role at the heart of a complex multi-team program.
This is a role for an experienced tester who thinks in whole-system integration - someone who sees how the pieces fit together across teams and drives quality across the full picture, not just a single component.
What You'll Do:
- Own manual testing across complex, mission-critical systems, working hands-on in Linux and Docker environments.
- Lead integration across multiple engineering subsystem teams, holding the end-to-end system view rather than a single component's.
- Configure Unix-based environments and run and analyze logs to investigate, reproduce, and validate system behavior.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing - Must
- Experience leading a project or initiative in practice - including matrix / cross-team leadership, not necessarily formal direct management - Must
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Docker, including working with containers - Must
- Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans, and documenting and tracking defects - Must
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance - Must
- Experience configuring Unix-based systems, and running and analyzing logs
- A mature, measured, and collaborative working style, comfortable coordinating across multiple teams Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL - Advantage
