Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Databricks Developer to join the Technology Division at a leading insurance and financial organization located in central Israel.

This role combines Data Engineering and AI development, including building end-to-end data pipelines, developing AI-based solutions, and modernizing complex operational systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop advanced AI and Data solutions within the technology division
• Build end-to-end data pipelines for extracting, scanning, and validating financial investment data
• Develop AI-based systems for querying business and operational data
• Build AI/BI reporting capabilities for business users
• Migrate legacy operational systems into modern Python-based environments on Kubernetes (K8S)
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, complex calculations, and quality control mechanisms
• Work closely with business and technology teams across the organization
• Develop solutions in modern cloud and data environments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer - Must
• Experience working with GitHub and GitHub Copilot - Must
• Strong SQL skills with SQL Server - Must
• Experience working with Databricks - Significant advantage
• Experience developing AI Agents - Significant advantage
• Knowledge of Power BI - Advantage
• Knowledge of React - Advantage
• Background in financial systems or investment domains - Advantage
