As a Network Administrator within the Computer Sites Operations Unit, you will be responsible for the planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of passive communication infrastructures and IT equipment across the organization's Data Center facilities.

As a Network Administrator within the Computer Sites Operations Unit, you will be responsible for the planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of passive communication infrastructures and IT equipment across the organization's Data Center facilities. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Networking, Systems, and Operations teams, supporting mission-critical environments while ensuring service delivery according to defined SLAs and operational standards. The role offers exposure to enterprise-scale Data Center operations, communication infrastructure, servers, storage systems, and advanced IT environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and execute deployment of passive communication infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Install, connect, and maintain IT equipment in server and communication racks
  • Perform basic configuration and setup activities for IT equipment when required
  • Support Data Center operations and infrastructure-related service requests
  • Update and maintain DCIM systems and infrastructure documentation
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for infrastructure and equipment-related incidents
  • Coordinate infrastructure activities with internal Infrastructure, Networking, Systems, and Operations teams
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of IT equipment, communication components, and infrastructure assets
  • Ensure all operational activities are performed according to established procedures, standards, and SLAs
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide operational support outside regular working hours when required
  • Support operational activities across multiple Data Center locations when needed
  • Contribute to maintaining high availability and operational continuity of critical Data Center environments

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with Data Center infrastructure, communication systems, servers, storage, networking equipment, or related IT environments - Must
  • Hands-on experience with passive communication infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cabling - Must
  • Experience installing and maintaining IT equipment in server racks and communication cabinets - Must
  • Basic understanding of networking, server, storage, and infrastructure environments - Must
  • Experience working in operational or technical support environments - Must
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and hardware-related issues - Must
  • Experience working with service requests, operational procedures, and SLA-driven environments - Must
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call rotations - Must
  • Experience working with DCIM systems or Data Center management tools - Advantage
  • Experience providing PC or end-user technical support - Advantage
  • Familiarity with inventory management and asset tracking processes - Advantage
  • Previous experience working in enterprise organizations, financial institutions, or large-scale IT environments - Advantage
