What You'll Do:
- Perform manual testing of Web-based applications, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, write, and execute test cases (TCs), test plans (STPs), and detailed test scenarios.
- Perform API testing using Postman, including REST API validation, request and response verification, status codes, and business logic testing.
- Execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity across relational databases.
- Identify, document, track, and manage software defects using Jira.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, testing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software QA testing of Web-based applications- Must
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing- Must
- Experience working with Jira in Agile/Scrum development teams- Must
- Experience writing test cases (TCs), test plans (STPs), and test scenarios, using test management tools such as TestRail or Xray- Must
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing, including request/response validation, status codes, and business logic- Must
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including writing queries and validating data- Must
- Knowledge and understanding of test automation concepts and methodologies- Must
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks- Advantage
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to investigate complex issues
