We are recruiting a Logistics & Shipping Specialist for an Israeli company, for a central, hands-on role managing the company’s international logistics and shipping activities. This is a hands-on position with full responsibility for end-to-end outbound shipments and exception handling, alongside operational procurement support as needed. The role includes ongoing work with global freight forwarders and suppliers, full control of logistics processes, shipping documentation and Incoterms, and direct impact on delivery times, costs, and customer service levels.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage international shipments end to end- Plan, book, and execute air, sea, and ground shipments; track ETA/ETD; prioritize shipments and manage schedules.
- Work closely with freight forwarders and 3PL providers- Manage day-to-day relationships with freight forwarders, monitor SLAs, resolve operational issues, and drive process improvements.
- Control shipping documentation and Incoterms- Prepare, review, and validate shipping documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, AWB / BL, COO, and others; ensure correct Incoterm alignment with orders and customers.
- Handle exceptions and disruptions- Manage delays, holds, exceptional costs, damage or loss claims, returns and RMA processes, with full ownership through resolution.
- Support operational procurement activities- Create purchase orders (POs), track supplier deliveries, handle shortages and delays, and support alternative supplier sourcing to reduce supply risks.
- Work with information systems- Maintain accurate documentation, tracking, and control within ERP systems; ensure structured, reliable process and status management.
