We're looking for an Integration Team Lead to lead and grow the integration capabilities of a major insurance organization. This is a strategic, hands-on role that combines technical leadership, team management, and architectural ownership in a highly complex, cloud-oriented environment.
You’ll be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions between core systems, business platforms, and external partners. This includes implementing AI-driven enhancements, modernizing infrastructure, and driving operational efficiency through automation and smart architecture.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of senior integration developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support
- Own the end-to-end architecture of integration solutions across the organization
- Design and implement microservices-based integration patterns and APIs using modern technologies
- Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver scalable and secure solutions
- Champion the use of AI capabilities to optimize processes, reduce development time, and enhance operational effectiveness
- Drive technical decisions, architecture reviews, documentation, and best practice adoption
- Work in an Agile environment, aligning team delivery with business goals and timelines
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring technical teams
- Proven track record in leading complex integration architecture and development initiatives
- Hands-on expertise with at least one modern integration platform (e.g., MuleSoft, WSO2, Boomi, Kafka Connect, Azure/AWS Integration Services, Camel)
- Strong programming experience in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing and developing Microservices and REST APIs
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and modern containerized environments
- Knowledge of both structured (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and unstructured (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Data Lakes) databases
- Experience working with event-driven architectures, message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ), and API gateways
- Fluency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and commitment to code quality and best practices
Nice to Have:
- Experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitOps)
- Hands-on with caching solutions such as Redis or Hazelcast
- Background working with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, Kiro)
- Understanding of Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Foundry, Databricks Agent, LangGraph)
- BSc in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Systems – Advantage
