This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, cloud, and cyber security, focusing on designing and leading secure architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and lead security architecture solutions for IT and cloud infrastructures (On-prem, Hybrid, Multi-Cloud)
- Evaluate, implement, and integrate new security technologies to protect core systems and infrastructure
- Perform risk assessments and define security controls across systems and projects
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Networking, DevOps, and Development teams to embed security principles into day-to-day workflows
- Define infrastructure security standards, policies, and procedures in compliance with regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOX)
- Participate in cyber incident investigations and root cause analysis from an infrastructure perspective
- Support strategic and large-scale projects from design through production, with a strong focus on Security by Design
- Monitor emerging threats, technologies, and trends in infrastructure security, and recommend required improvements and upgrades
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in information security (including 3+ years in infrastructure security architecture)
- Hands-on experience securing networks, operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of security technologies such as FW, WAF, IPS/IDS, DDoS Protection, NAC, EDR/XDR
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and defining security controls
- Experience writing high-level architecture and design documents using structured methodologies
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and secure communication (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, TLS)
- Formal training and certifications/courses in information security, cyber security, infrastructure, or networking
An Advantage:
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and Zero Trust architectures
- Background in financial institutions or highly regulated organizations
- Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
