A large automotive group representing leading brands is looking for a Group Head of Digital (CDO) to lead the digital strategy and activity across the group.This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the group’s digital vision and driving growth through digital platforms, performance marketing, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on guidance across digital products, marketing performance, and technological initiatives.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the group’s digital vision and driving growth through digital platforms, performance marketing, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on guidance across digital products, marketing performance, and technological initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the Digital Strategy-
  • Define and lead the group’s digital and growth strategy across multiple brands and subsidiaries

  • Build and manage the group digital roadmap, priorities and budgets

  • Drive digital innovation and AI adoption across marketing and digital products

Manage Digital Platforms & Projects-
  • Own and oversee the group’s digital ecosystem including websites and digital platforms

  • Lead cross-organizational digital projects and integrations

  • Improve user experience, conversion and digital performance

Drive Digital Marketing Performance-
  • Lead performance marketing and media activity across channels

  • Manage significant media budgets and work with media agencies and partners

  • Define campaign goals and optimize performance to maximize ROI and lead generation

Data, SEO & Measurement-

  • Lead SEO and GEO strategies across brands

  • Build and manage analytics frameworks and executive dashboards

  • Drive data-driven decision making across digital activity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading digital activity in a large organization or multi-brand group
  • Proven experience managing teams and complex matrix organizations
  • Strong experience managing large digital media budgets (Meta, Google, programmatic platforms, publishers)
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and performance marketing
  • Experience leading cross-organizational digital projects
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience with advanced analytics tools
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems and customer lifecycle management
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategy, technology, and commercial results
