Join the Cyber Security Division of one of Israel’s leading financial organizations and take a key role in leading its real-time cyber defense operations. As Head of Cyber Security Operations, you will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for threat detection, monitoring, and incident response, while driving advanced security technologies, automation, and operational improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Cyber Security Operations and multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Oversee SOC, SIEM, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, and Fraud Monitoring capabilities.
- Define and execute the department's operational cyber defense strategy.
- Lead cyber incident management, response, and operational readiness.
- Drive advanced threat detection, security automation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the implementation of advanced monitoring platforms and new security technologies.
- Collaborate with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen operational cyber defense.
- Provide management with clear visibility into threats, incidents, and operational security posture.
Requirement:
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including Security Operations and Incident Response - Must.
- At least 2-3 years of experience managing multidisciplinary Cyber Security Operations teams - Must.
- Deep technical expertise in SOC, SIEM, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response - Must.
- Hands-on experience managing and responding to complex cyber security incidents in large-scale environments - Must.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques, and security monitoring technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in financial or regulated environments, SIEM transformation, security automation/SOAR, Cloud Security Operations, or Offensive Security - a significant advantage.
