Join one of Israel’s top financial institutions as an FX Trading Room Systems Manager and lead critical systems that support high-stakes trading operations.
This is a senior-level position requiring strong technical skills, leadership, and hands-on involvement in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
You’ll oversee development, support, and innovation across FX trading room platforms, including real-time collaboration with global vendors and internal stakeholders.
What will you do:
- Lead and manage a team of developers and analysts in the FX trading systems domain
- Oversee system operations and support during trading hours (07:00–22:00), including phone availability on Fridays
- Manage vendor relationships with global companies (Bloomberg, LSEG) – English communication only
- Assign tasks, monitor execution, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Handle production issues under pressure and ensure continuous system availability
- Initiate innovation and lead the introduction of new tools and technologies
- Drive process optimization throughout the system lifecycle (especially in development and maintenance stages)
- Collaborate closely with trading room personnel and technology units
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in IT, including project leadership and system support – mandatory
- At least 7 years of experience in C# development – advantage
- Proven experience with FX trading systems – mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Summit (FX and derivatives trading platform) – mandatory
- Strong knowledge of LSEG (Reuters) and Bloomberg products – mandatory/advantage
- Experience with server-side scripting and modern technologies (SQL, Microsoft stack)
- Strong system-level thinking and analytical skills – mandatory
- Experience managing employees and leading projects – mandatory
- Experience in system analysis – advantage
- Proven experience working directly with business users – mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal – mandatory
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering – advantage
