Role Overview:
In this role, you will lead a talented team of front-end engineers working on our Editor Group, shaping the core of Elementor’s user experience. You will play a critical role in architecting scalable front-end solutions, ensuring best practices in testing and code quality, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled front-end engineers, ensuring professional growth and technical excellence.
- Architect, develop and optimize React-based front-end solutions for Elementor’s powerful website-building experience.
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing (unit, integration, e2e), and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to create seamless, high-quality user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentorship to uplift the team’s capabilities.
- Own and improve front-end architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Advocate for modern development methodologies such as CI/CD, TDD, and Agile best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and trends, continuously improving our development stack.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Full Stack Team Leader in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.).
- Experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and best front-end practices.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
- Solid understanding of build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to make technical decisions confidently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with WordPress development and PHP.
- Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Elementor’s ecosystem or other page-building platforms.
