One of Israel’s leading investment houses is looking for a Development Team Lead to join an established development department and lead a team of developers, combining technical leadership, hands-on development, and mentoring. The team develops and maintains internal CRM-based systems for employee benefit programs and related products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, driving technical excellence, and remaining actively involved in the code.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of 3-4 developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and professional development.
- Stay hands-on with development (approximately 30%), solving complex technical challenges and supporting the team.
- Review technical specifications and requirements to ensure feasibility and quality before development.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with other development teams and business stakeholders.
- Participate in technical interviews and the recruitment of new developers.
- Drive continuous improvement in team performance, development processes, and code quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience - Must
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET/.NET, and SQL - Must
- At least 1-2 years of team leadership experience, or significant technical leadership experience as a Senior Developer, including code reviews and mentoring - Must
- Recent hands-on coding experience, including active development within the last two years - Must
- Proven experience in code reviews, mentoring developers, and providing technical guidance - Must
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment - Must
- Experience using AI development tools as part of daily work - Must
- Experience with Angular and Python - advantage
- Experience working with AWS - advantage
- Experience with Microservices architecture - advantage
- Experience participating in technical hiring processes - advantage
