As a Development Project Manager within a strategic Data & AI division, you will lead complex cross-functional development initiatives, working closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and helping translate business needs into innovative technology solutions. The role offers exposure to Data Platforms, Cloud technologies, AI initiatives, and large-scale enterprise development programs.
What You'll Do:
- Lead complex Data & AI development projects from initiation through implementation and delivery
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, monitoring, and deployment
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, DevOps teams, Architects, BI professionals, and business stakeholders
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, priorities, and dependencies
- Lead Agile delivery processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and execution tracking
- Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive resolution across cross-functional teams
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions and actionable development plans
- Define and monitor delivery KPIs, project performance metrics, and adoption indicators
- Support strategic initiatives involving Data Platforms, Cloud solutions, Analytics, and AI technologies
- Prepare and present project status updates, recommendations, and delivery insights to management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing software development projects in a technology-focused environment - Must
- Experience leading end-to-end development projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders - Must
- Experience working closely with development teams, including Developers, Data Engineers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and Architects - Must
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), architecture concepts, APIs, integrations, and development processes - Must
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban) - Must
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms - Must
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership capabilities - Must
- Experience leading Data, BI, Analytics, Data Platform, Data Warehouse, or Data Integration projects - Advantage
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT processes, or modern Data technologies - Advantage
- Experience working with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP - Advantage
- Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, or advanced analytics initiatives - Advantage
- Experience defining and monitoring KPIs, delivery metrics, and project performance indicators - Advantage
- Previous experience in financial institutions, large enterprises, or highly regulated environments - Advantage
