Join a fast-growing fintech company that’s revolutionizing the world of digital payments and financial infrastructure, as a DBA SQL Server and take end-to-end responsibility for the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-grade database environments.
This role includes both infrastructure and application-level responsibilities – ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of critical database systems. You’ll work closely with development, DevOps, and system teams to support business continuity, troubleshoot issues, and improve data infrastructure at scale.
What will you do:
- Design and plan SQL Server database architecture according to business and technical requirements
- Build, maintain, and manage SQL Server environments (Production, QA, Development)
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and Execution Plans
- Conduct advanced performance tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, and response time improvements
- Implement HA/DR solutions such as Always On, Replication, and Log Shipping
- Manage backups, restores, permissions, and security configurations
- Develop and maintain batch and ETL processes using SSIS
- (Optional) Use SSRS and SSAS to develop reports and analytics solutions
- Support large-scale VLDBs (Very Large Databases) with hundreds of gigabytes of data
- Plan and execute version/server/cloud migrations in a controlled manner
- Advise and assist developers with advanced T-SQL, functions, stored procedures, and triggers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA (Infrastructure + Application)
- Expert-level SQL skills including analytical functions and execution plan analysis
- Hands-on experience with HA implementations: Always On, Mirroring, Replication
- Proven expertise in performance tuning and query/process optimization
- Deep understanding of partitioning, advanced indexing, and query optimization techniques
- Strong experience writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex T-SQL
- Hands-on experience managing backups, restores, and failure diagnostics
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and best practices for SQL Server management
- Strong documentation skills and ability to understand and manage complex systems
Advantages:

- Proven experience working with VLDBs (100GB+)
- Hands-on knowledge of SSIS / SSRS / SSAS – significant professional advantage

- Microsoft SQL Server DBA certification – official advantage
- Familiarity with multi-data center or multi-region database setups
