We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Data Team Lead to join one of Israel’s leading insurance companies. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary data team of engineers, BI developers, and analysts- driving the design and development of modern data infrastructure and analytics capabilities to support strategic business decision-making.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Analysts, including recruitment, mentoring, training, and professional development.
- Establish efficient workflows, prioritize tasks, and ensure delivery on goals and timelines.
- Own the development and maintenance of organizational BI systems, dashboards, and business models.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of ETL/ELT processes and modern data pipelines.
- Build and maintain the organization's Data Warehouse and advanced data architecture.
- Work hands-on on performance tuning, process monitoring, and data automation tasks.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cyber, and business units to ensure seamless data integration and delivery.
- Drive high standards of data quality, accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience managing a multidisciplinary data team (Data Engineers, BI, ETL, DBAs).
- Proven leadership skills in team development and professional growth.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and strong understanding of data modeling and architecture
- Experience in Python or another relevant language used for data processes.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, Pyramid).
- Strong task management skills, ability to multitask, and operate under pressure.
- Experience leading cross-organizational projects and complex data architecture- significant advantage
- Prior work experience in the insurance industry-significant advantage
