What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted cyber security advisor across IT and R&D teams
- Identify and assess security risks in infrastructure and application projects
- Define and implement security requirements and best practices throughout project lifecycles
- Design secure system architectures in alignment with company policies and industry standards
- Support and validate risk assessments, security reviews, and penetration testing activities
- Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure, DevOps, and product teams to ensure secure delivery
- Recommend and integrate relevant security technologies to enhance system resilience
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cyber security or information security, including project advisory roles – Must
- Strong understanding of application security, code-level vulnerabilities, and secure coding practices – Must
- Experience with security risk assessment, threat modeling, and architecture validation – Must
- Familiarity with networking, communication protocols, firewalls, vaults, and security zones – Must
- Exposure to cloud security (AWS/Azure), mobile security, and enterprise environments – Advantage
- Previous experience in a financial or large-scale organization – Advantage
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM – Advantage
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, data diodes (whitelisting), and privileged access management systems
- Background in cloud computing and mobile security domains
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders: business, technology, and leadership
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and task ownership
