We’re looking for a Cyber Application Security Architecture Team Lead to join the Cyber Defense Division of one of Israel’s leading financial organizations. This is an opportunity to lead the application security architecture domain, shape secure development standards and practices across the organization, and guide complex strategic initiatives across application, cloud, and AI environments.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and professionally manage a team of Application Security Architects
- Define and lead the organization’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) approach
- Review and approve security architectures for complex systems and strategic technology initiatives
- Lead Architecture Governance processes and define organization-wide application security standards
- Provide security architecture guidance for projects across application, cloud, and AI environments
- Perform Threat Modeling and identify security risks early in the design and development lifecycle
- Work closely with development managers, architects, and technology teams to embed security throughout the development process
Requirements:
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of proven experience leading Information Security Architecture in enterprise environments
- Proven experience providing professional leadership to technology teams and security experts
- Significant experience implementing Secure SDLC and integrating security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and ASPM into CI/CD processes
- Hands-on Application Security experience, including identifying and mitigating application vulnerabilities
- Experience performing Threat Modeling, architecture reviews, defining security requirements, and designing risk mitigation solutions
- Experience with Cloud Security Architecture across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments
- Deep understanding of Web, Mobile, API, Cloud, Microservices, and Container architectures
- Strong knowledge of application security methodologies and standards such as OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security, SAMM, and BSIMM
- Excellent English, including the ability to read and write technical documentation and lead professional discussions
- Strong professional leadership skills and the ability to lead experts and drive cross-functional initiatives
Nice to Have:
- Formal people management experience
- Software development background in Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI security risks and securing LLM and Agent-based solutions
