What will you do:

• Lead a COBOL development team responsible for critical financial systems in the Mainframe (MF/AS400) environment.
  
  
• Take full ownership of software development processes – including system design, architecture, scalability, and team performance.
  
  
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
  
  
• Perform system analysis and design end-to-end solutions.
  
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners in the Capital Markets domain.
  
  
• Mentor and guide developers, while driving innovation and timely delivery.
  
  
• Analyze business requirements, define system solutions, and lead implementations from start to finish.
  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in COBOL development and leading projects in MF (Mainframe) environments – mandatory.
  
  
• At least 3 years of experience as a COBOL developer in MF/AS400 – mandatory.
  
  
• At least 3 years of experience managing development tasks and leading teams – mandatory.
  
  
• Proven experience in system analysis and requirement gathering – mandatory.
  
  
• Ability to understand complex systems and lead them end-to-end – mandatory.
  
  
• Strong business understanding and ability to work with business users – mandatory.
  
  
• Experience with financial systems – mandatory.
  
  
• Experience with capital markets platforms – an advantage.
  
  
• Experience with banking systems – an advantage.
  
  
• Experience with Adabas – an advantage.
  
  
• Strong service orientation, analytical thinking, and independent learning skills.
  
  

Tech environment:
COBOL, Mainframe (MF/AS400), Adabas, financial and capital markets systems.
