Cobol CICS Team Lead

What will you do:
- Lead the development and architecture of COBOL CICS-based systems in a Mainframe environment.
- Oversee the work of multiple developers, including task delegation, technical guidance, and progress tracking.
- Take full ownership of critical, complex systems and ensure successful delivery under tight deadlines.
- Translate regulatory and business requirements into robust technological solutions.
- Perform deep system analysis, break down complex processes into manageable components, and implement them end-to-end.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders in the capital markets domain.
Provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a COBOL CICS Team Leader or Architect in a Mainframe environment–mandatory.
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience with COBOL CICS–mandatory.
- Strong analytical and architectural skills–mandatory.
- Ability to define technological solutions from regulatory and business requirements– mandatory.
- Experience with ADABAS – an advantage.
- Experience with NATURAL – an advantage.
- Experience working on mission-critical financial systems – an advantage.
- Experience in banking systems – an advantage.
- Strong service orientation, independence, teamwork skills, and willingness to undergo assessments.
Tech environment:
COBOL, CICS, Mainframe (MF), ADABAS, NATURAL, financial systems, capital markets platforms.
