Join a growing digital innovation team in the financial sector as a Mobile Team Leader, responsible for leading iOS and Android engineering teams in the development of cutting-edge banking applications. What You’ll Do:
- Lead two mobile development teams (8–12 engineers total) working on business and core infrastructure layers
- Define and execute the mobile technology roadmap while managing delivery across teams
- Guide developers through technical mentorship, performance reviews, and personal development plans
- Drive standardization across iOS and Android, including architecture, tooling, and code quality
- Enforce best practices around modularity, Clean Code, and CI/CD processes
- Remain at least 25% hands-on, contributing code in Swift and Kotlin when needed
- Perform design reviews, code reviews, and optimize performance at scale
- Oversee application lifecycle including release management, certificate handling, and store publishing
- Act as a central stakeholder in collaboration with business, infrastructure, and other engineering teams
- Research and implement emerging technologies such as KMP, SPM, and cross-platform frameworks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, preferably across multiple mobile squads – Must
- 7+ years of experience in native mobile development – iOS, Android, or both – Must
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering complex mobile systems at scale
- Full ownership of app lifecycle, including deployment and certificate management
- Strong knowledge of SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose – Must
- Hands-on experience with design patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture
- Familiarity with tools like SPM, third-party SDKs, and open-source libraries
- Experience with hybrid mobile development using KMP – Advantage
- Proven ability to perform performance profiling and utilize Firebase Analytics for insights
- Ability to lead without authority, influence technical direction, and drive collaboration across multiple departments
