A leading financial services company is looking for a Lawyer to join its Alternative Funds activity, supporting a U.S.-based alternative investment fund specializing in mortgage acquisitions and real estate asset realization.
The role combines legal and commercial work, ongoing collaboration with U.S. law firms, oversight of foreclosure and real estate processes, and legal support to the investment team and management.
What You'll Do:
- Manage ongoing relationships with U.S. law firms supporting the fund’s activities.
- Monitor and review legal processes related to foreclosures, mortgages, and real estate asset realization.
- Review and analyze legal cases and foreclosure statuses.
- Provide legal advice to the investment team on real estate, loans, regulation, and contracts.
- Review legal documents, including loan agreements, collateral documents, purchase agreements, and title documents.
- Support legal work related to data center agreements and real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders in Israel and the U.S.
Requirements:
- LL.B. degree and Israeli Bar license - Must
- Completion of a commercial law internship - Must
- Fluent legal English - Must
- 1-2 years of experience as a lawyer - Significant advantage
- Experience with real estate-backed financing, mortgages, or foreclosure processes - Significant advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew
